Why VeyaDesk
VeyaDesk is an independent remote-desktop product in development. We are building the secure attended experience first, then expanding only when broader capabilities can be introduced responsibly.
Our direction
Remote support is valuable because it removes distance. It is also unusually sensitive software: the same capabilities that help a colleague can be abused when consent is unclear or access becomes invisible.
VeyaDesk is designed around a simple idea: the person at the receiving computer should understand what is being requested, approve it deliberately, see when control is active and be able to stop it immediately.
The first beta does fewer things than established remote-access platforms. That is intentional. Screen viewing, mouse and keyboard control, encrypted transport, revocation and session expiry form the core. Features such as unattended access and file transfer come with additional security responsibilities and remain outside the current product.
No invented customer numbers, performance figures, certifications or security guarantees. Release pages distinguish current capability from future plans.
Permission, active-session state and the stop action should be visible—not buried in settings or implied by installation.
Automated tests are necessary, but real-device acceptance, code signing and independent security review remain required milestones.
