Beta terms of use
Effective 17 September 2026 · These terms apply to the pre-release website and attended beta.
Plain-language terms
Use VeyaDesk only with clear authority and consent.
1. The beta
VeyaDesk is pre-release software provided for controlled evaluation. Features may change, sessions may be interrupted and the service may be suspended while it is tested or secured. The beta is not intended for safety-critical, emergency, medical, financial-trading or other use where failure could cause serious harm.
2. Permission to use
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the beta for lawful attended remote support. You must use it only on devices you own or are expressly authorised to access.
3. Consent and responsibility
You must obtain clear permission from the person responsible for the remote computer before viewing or controlling it. Do not misrepresent your identity or purpose. You are responsible for actions taken during a session and for protecting connection IDs and devices under your control.
4. Prohibited conduct
You may not use VeyaDesk for unauthorised access, surveillance, fraud, harassment, malware distribution, credential theft, security-control evasion, disruption or any conduct described in the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not probe or overload the service except as part of an authorised security review.
5. Pre-release availability
The beta is provided without a service-level commitment. We may modify, limit or stop it; terminate sessions; or block activity that threatens users, infrastructure or legal compliance.
6. No security guarantee
We use security controls described on the Security page, but no software or network can be guaranteed free of vulnerabilities. Keep Windows updated, verify who you connect with and end unexpected sessions immediately.
7. Intellectual property
VeyaDesk software, branding and website materials remain the property of their respective owner. These terms do not grant rights to copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute proprietary release binaries except where applicable law expressly permits.
8. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the free beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or error-free performance. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Feedback
If you provide product feedback, you permit us to use it to improve VeyaDesk without payment or confidentiality obligation, unless separately agreed in writing.
